Ok, i used spybot search and destroy, i deleted a lot of spyware, i then
restarted my comp., but when i restarted it, it said something about couldn't
find ntds or something. So, i used my trusty windows xp help disk thingy, and
tryed fixing the boot sector, didn't work, so i tryed fixing the master boot
record, still didn't work, so i did a repair installation on my windows
files, then my comp would boot, but then it would just restart, then it game
me the option of safe mode, command prompt, use last known good configuration
etc. I tried each of them and the comp. jsut restarted, so i installed
windows in a different file, and here i am, unable to acces any of my old
files on my comp, so i either need to find a way to merge my old installation
with me new one, copy the files by hand(i cant open the documents folders for
my logon accounts) or find a way to get my old installation working (if i
could acces the old installations system restore files, then i could fix the
problem i think).

This may help..
How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.

Or something? It was probably your spyware not being able to find it's own
files. It was probably only a matter of removing a registry entry. Now you
have screwed up your system by trying to repair it.
You might as well format the drive and do a clean install.
