Hi,
I have two PCs networked via a router one is running Windows XP home and
the other is running Windows 98SE. They were setup using the network
wizard on the XP machine, creating a floppy and using that to setup the
98SE machine.
The Windows 98 machine is nearly always on all the time and the XP only
when needed. Today the 98 machine was not switched on when the XP was
started and a problem showed up, the cursor would keep going to busy
every 10 seconds or so and would not stop until the 98 PC was started.
I think it is something to do with the XP being the network master and
was searching for the other machine. Is there any way to change the XP
from being master and to make the 98 take care of everything.
Thanks
