Hello, please help me with my problem - I have bought a
CAT5 Crosswire Network Cable and two Network Adaptors,
they are plugged in correctly and I have connected the
two machines the XP Home, and the 98SE. Upon doing so my
XP noticed that the LAN was now active. I ran the Home
Networking Wizard used a Floppy to run the wizard on the
98SE and from the 98 I opened Network Neighbourhood with
successfully accessing the XP Shared Files and Folders.
However, when trying to access the shared folders from
the XP Machine, the Windows XP couldnt find my 98SE on
the network or in My Network Places. I opened Management
Tools to fiddle around and it said that the XP was in a
session with a 98SE machine, then why can't the XP see
the 98 files, but 98 can see the XP? I'm very new to
Networking and keen to learn, please help me. Any help
will be deeply appreciated.
Kind Regards.
