Hello
I'm running Windows XP Home and connecting to my network using a Netgear
WG111 USB wireless adaptor.
When I log in to the Owner account, the network adaptor connects to the
router, and lets me access the internet properly.
However, when I log in to a restricted user account (without logging in to
an administrator account first), the Netgear icons are displayed in the
system tray, but the wireless connection doesn't get established.
If I log in to the Owner account first, then just switch users to a
restricted user account, the wireless link is connected, and I can access
the internet without any problems.
I'm using the Netgear software to administer the wireless connection, rather
than Windows XP's built in admin tool. There don't appear to be any options
to connect regardless of the user's access level.
Is there any way I can set the system up to allow restricted users to access
the net without logging in as an admin first?
Thanks in advance.
Jason
