Unable to install BackBerry Desktop software because a script required in
order for install to run could not be found; Event Viewer reports error
1720. Three info IDs appear in Event Viewer immediately before failure
message:
MSASCui id 2176
Express id 768
MsMpEng id 1024

What's "BackBerry Desktop software"? Why are you telling us this?

Error 1720 is generated by Windows . It appears in Windows XP, Computer
Management, System Tools, Event Viewer, Applications. Immediately before
reporting ERROR 1720b three information ids were reported. They were MSASCui
id 2176, Express id 768, MsMpEng id 1024.

The error is caused by Windows Installer failuer to respond appropriately,
probably because of some security setting, or missing file, or corrupt file.
How can I determine the exactly why Windows Installer not performing poperly?
