Problem with Win2000 server and hosting

I've set up a site on a Windows 2000 server computer. This is the
first time. I can see the default.htm page using the server but not on
any other computer. Any suggestions why?

Anyone have 'simple' instructions for setting up IIS to I can set up a
website on this server which is open to the internet? If this is not
an easy thing to do I'll be happy to pay someone to walk me through it
over the phone. Actually, I wish to set up several simple site on this
server and I need to set it up as a mail server so I can send out a
mailing list. My hosting service only allows 50 emails to be sent at
one time.

Sam,

How are you accessing the site through the server - what URL are you typing
into the browser? Through the IP address of the server or by just simply
browsing for the file through c:\ or whatever drive you have it on?
