Problem with two rows and expanded clock on task bar

I have a question. My 4 year old daughter messed with my taskbar and ended up
changing it from a single row to a double row. Also my clock used to show
just the time, now it shows time, date, and day. I would like to change it
back to single row, with just the time. It used to show my quick launch with
only time all on a single row, even when I opened a program.

I cannot figure this out.

Please let me know how to change this back.

Thank you

Hi rbrick,

Right click on the taskbar, see if 'lock the taskbar' is checked. If it is,
click on it to uncheck it. Now place your mouse on the upper edge of the
taskbar, it should change to a double arrow. Right click and hold the mouse
button down and drag the bar back down to single width and release. To
prevent further accidental changes, right click and re-enable the 'lock the
taskbar' function.
