problem with svchost - whatever that is!

I am having major trouble today with the following message

svchost.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will
need to restart the program.

I then encounter memory problems and a general slowing down before Windows
pretty much halts altogether. Any ideas?

Hi Mark,

Run the script on line 261 (left hand side) and send the log file to me via
email. If you are also having issues with Task Manager, Regedit and
Msconfig, run both of them on line 261:
