Problem with Q824145

Whenever we try to run the update Q824145 using the version for IE6, we
receive the following message:

This Update Requires Internet Explorer 6.0 to be installed.


If we run the same patch designed for IE6 SP1, we receive the following
error:

This Update Requires Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 to be installed.


All of our pc's have Windows XP Pro with SP1a, IE6 6.0.2800.1106 with SP1
and all other pre SP2 updates installed.

Any ideas as to why we are getting these error messages? We are logged in
as administrators when we try to run it. We have re downloaded it without
any success.

Do you tried to install that update directly from WindowsUpdate.com?

We have not tried that yet because we need to distribute it to over 1000
users with validated machines. We run Novell 6 (G-D only knows why) instead
of Ad and we push our updates out via Zenworks, which works quite well. But
we always test extensively and we cant even get it to run on a single
machine after being downloaded directly from the security bulletin site.
