I have an Abit KV8-Max3 running a serial raid 0 and an ata
raid 0. I installed SP2 and during the install when it
was backing up files it couldn't backup atait.sys (or
something like that). Once everything was finished and it
rebooted into Windows XP my Symantec PC Anywhere (ver.
10.5) gives me a compatibility error (no big deal), but
then after that when the desktop comes up my pc will just
reboot.

It keeps doing this over and over.

Anyone got any suggestions why this might be happening?
Thanks!

You can tap tap tap F8 when booting up to restore to
previous working version of windows. I don't know if
the missed file during the backup is critical and I don't
know how to find out since the filename is wrong.

You can use F8 to boot to safe mode where it loads
one driver at a time and maybe find the driver which
doesn't load properly. Write the file name down.
Run the repair option to write the from the install cd
to replace the file which creates the error situation.

These are general ideas since I've not acutally fixed this
exact problem. You may find more information by searching
