Problem with outlook express 6

Hello im having a bit of an issue with outlook express 6.. Whenever i switch
identities it always asks if i want to keep the current connection. Now im on
a broadband connection. So i dont really see why it would ask me to keep the
current connection.. And this has only started happening since i did a few
microsoft updates.
This isnt really a major issue as i can just click yes.. but it becomes
quite irritating every time i switch to another identity

Below is a ling to the message i get when i try to switch identities..

Now in account options i have it set to always use my broadband connection
so i really cant see why this is happening. Its become so annoying im
considering switching to another pop3 email program.

Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

Hi
It says Microsoft made outlook express and this site is Microsoft. And, the
trouble I am having is due to the new windows live one care and their
firewall not allowing outlook express to work, except when I shut off the
firewall, and then it works. I have it on the allow list for the antivirus
protection. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it more than one, for days
now.
Any help would be so appreciated. :) Thanks.

Microsoft Outlook Express is not Outlook. Outlook comes with Microsoft Office, Outlook Express comes with Windows Internet Explorer. I already told you of a place for assistance, please follow the link.
