Problem with Outlook Exporting Contacts

When I try to export my contacts, Outlook terminates with an error. When I
look in the event log, it gives an event ID of 1000. I never get any error
messages except the generic one about a program has failed and must
terminate. I have checked the Microsoft KB and could not find anything about
this error. I have removed and reinstalled Office, installed the latest
service pack and I still get the same error. Here is what I do:
Click FIle
Click Import/Export
Select Export to a file
Click Next and then Outlook terminates.

I have sent the error report but I don't expect an answer.
Any Help would be appreciated

For what version and service pack level of Outlook? Also what account type
are you using?

I am running Ofice 2000 SR1 with service pack 3. If you mean type of mail
account, it is a POP3. If this in not what you man, please tell me how to
find what you want. I have also captured the error with Dr. Watson. If you
want that file, please let me know where to send it or post it. Thank you,
Vince Radice
