Export Outlook 2007 Contacts to Live

I am attempting to update an existing Live contact file from my Outlook
contact list. I have downloaded and installed the Outlook Connector. When I
do File/Export/Export to a file in Outlook it just stops at the 'export to a
file" dialogue and nothing happens. When I go to Live and use the Import
wizard, it proceeds through various dialogues and then advises me my
connection is lost, though it's not.
Any ideas? Thanks!

why are you using export and import when you have the connector? Copy the
items to the connector's pst and outlook will sync it. Note that you are
limited to 1000 contacts.

sure how to do that. Can you advise me? (I only have 365 in Outlook).

why are you using export and import when you have the connector? Copy the
items to the connector's pst and outlook will sync it. Note that you are
limited to 1000 contacts.

Press Ctrl+6 to open the folder list. You'll see the live account and your
default personal folders. Drag the contacts from the default personal
folders to the live account's contact folder. You can select all (ctrl+a)
and drag all 300+ at once or select smaller groups of maybe 100 or so and
drag (or use Edit, move to folder).

Click and drag is always a move. If you want to copy, Ctrl-click and drag
or right-click and drag then choose Copy.
