Problem with .mdw file

Hi,
i developed a secure DB for TFGG in access 2003. i am opening that DB using
another .mdb file which contains only logon screen.. in that case TFGG.mdb is
opened correctly.. but the TFGGWorkGroup.mdw is file shown as system4.Here
System4 is the work group file for the Login.mdb. How can i solve this.?

Hi Bangaram,

Your question is not really all that clear. If I understand you correctly
(?), a PC that you are deploying your app. to is permanently joined to a
System4.mdw file. You can use the /wrkgrp switch to specify your workgroup
information file.

Hi Tom,
i am doing that only.. but in the workgroup administrator still its
showing as system4.mdw. when .mdb file opened..

That's probably because this PC is permanently joined to a workgroup
information file that is named "system4.mdw". Usually, one just leaves the
default "system.mdw" file as the permanently joined workgroup information
file and relies on the /wrkgrp switch in the target of a shortcut. You could
also specify the .mdw file in a VBS script.
