Hi. I have some terrible problem. I was on holiday for 6 days and when
I came back I realized that I can't logged to my account. I remember
surely my password, but system don't accept it. I can't understand what
is a reason of this problem. This account is a root account. I am sure
that anyone knows my password. Maybe my brother changes something on
his guest account, but I definitely doubt. Can anyone help me change
password or do something else ( I wouldn't like to reinstall win xp ) ?
I don't have any connection with my brother now.

best regards,
opexoc

You can always login using the hidden Windows XP Administrator account and
then change the password for your user account.

At the Welcome screen, use CTRL+ALT+DEL+DEL, enter Administrator, then the
password. If you never gave Adminsitrator a password, then just select OK.

Then using Control Panel, click on User Accounts, then your user name and
Delete the password.

but it looks like that the stuff in this site is not prepering for
Windows XP.

Try it. If it does not work, then locate someone who is an
administrator for the system.

If it wasn't for XP I would not have given you the link.
Try reading the page before complaining.
a.. New feature: Blank passwords!
b.. Optionally specify user with RID instead of name.
c.. More and better drivers (well, maybe)
d.. Bootdisk has new NTFS-driver with safer writeback (I hope).
e.. Tested on: NT4: wks, server, PDC. Win2k: pro and server (AD not supported), XP pro.
f.. Started a FAQ
I have used it several times, it is a Linux program. Just make a floppy and boot your machine.

sorry, I was reading the page, but I did not find this piece of text.
I have tried to use this method of CTR + ALT + DEL + DEL. It really
works :)... thanks a lot.
