problem with junk e-mail filters

I have set up rules for handling incoming messages. Messages I have picked
to be junk get sent to the junk e-mail folder and should then be deleted from
the incoming folder, but it isn't. This happens with another rule I recently
added. What's happening? How to fix?

Do you have the "stop processing more rules" action? You should.

How and where do I apply this rule?

It's not a rule, but a rule action and you apply it exactly the same way you
applied your other rule actions: by checking it in the Rules wizard.

What does it do?

It prevents the message from being acted upon by more than one rule.
