Problem with internet connection..

I'm running WIndowsXP Pro and if I leave the machine long enough for
the monitor to turn off I can't access the internet when I come back
unless I re-boot the machine? I've just recently switched from Win2000
and I never had that happen before.

Can anyone suggest something I might try?

I think if you cure the monitor driver problem, you'll cure this one also.
