I'm not completly sure whats going on here. I get threw the partition part
fine and the install of the setup files. But then it says it will restart
my computer and continue the setup. Well after it restarts it just goes
right back to the install of the setup files.

I've actually gone threw it twice now and am very confused. If anyone has
any info it would be greatly apriciated.

are you booting back up to the windows installation CD? when its going to
reboot again, take out the CD and let it get back in to the installation and
then put the CD back in.

good luck

You only 'hit any key' the first time you see "Hit any key to boot from
CD..." After that let that message time out each time and the system will
boot to the installation files on the hard drive. In other words, walk away
and the computer will continue the installation. You can leave the CD in
the drive.

Well I dont get the "Press any key" It just jumps straight to the setup
screen.

The press any key message appears following each of the three boots needed
to install Windows. The first time is when you first start the machine with
the cd in it at the very beginning of the installation process. You press a
key then to go to the cd because there is nothing yet on the harddrive that
you want to use.

The next time you do not press a key because the installation is already
underway and you do not want the cd to boot the computer. You want the
harddrive to boot the computer because XP copied the setup files there
during the first pass. The last time you want the installation to continue
from the harddrive.

The installer needs the cd in the drive during the install so it can copy
drivers, etc. as it works.

If this is not the process you are describing then post back with a more
complete description of what the installer is doing when it loops back. I
would start over and carefully monitor what is happening so you can tell us.
