Problem with IE browsing

When I use IE and I try to open another window (such as a
Pdf file) or if there is a sudden pop up, my prior "main"
IE window is being closed completely.

What can I do to solve this problem, I keep on losing the
sites I am on.

I am having the same problem as well. My current IE
window always closes upon the opening of another one, and
as a result i am only able to have one IE window open at
once. With pop-ups and such this is quite aggravating.
I know that several people have asked this question, just
today. Can someone please help?

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Actions Such as Search and Drag and Drop Do Not Work Because the Default
Access Permissions Have Been Changed in the Dcomcnfg.exe Tool
