Hello,
I have just recently begun having problems accessing an
internet site that I've used nearly daily for the past 3
years. I have no problem accessing the site from work
and, as far as I know, this is the ony website giving me
problems with THIS COMPUTER.

The website in question: http://www.cbssportsline.com

The problem: each time I try to open the page, either via
a hyperlink or by typing the name into the address bar, I
get this error message: "Cannot opent he Internet site
http://www.cbssportsline.com opearation aborted."

The error box is overlaid on top of the FULLY DISPLAYED
WEB PAGE TO THE SIGHT. If I refresh the page 8-10 times I
can eventually get in and I have no further problems. The
problem is getting in!

Like I said, this just began happening about two weeks
ago. Until today, no other web page was giving me any
problems. I did get this same problem with ONE OTHER PAGE
this afternoon. 98% of the sites I visit with no problems.

I am using a "pop-up " stopper that works great. I
figured maybe the site had a new "POP-UP" that was
causing this so I disabled the Pop-up Killer. Didn't make
any difference.

I don't know what's causing it but it's quite annoying. I
play fantasy baseball and I have to get on this site
DAILY !

SOMEONE HELP!

Operation aborted could be parasitical.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
