Problem with HP 1210

I have an HP psc 1210 All-In-One printer on my Vista machine. I cannot
access the “printing preferences†window. When I select it, it flashes
briefly and goes away. I have removed and re-installed, but nothing has
changed. And yes, I am logged in as administrator. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Is that part of Advanced Features?

Using the advanced printer functions

You might find that some of the advanced features are no longer
available when using this basic driver. You can upgrade to an HP
product that is fully compatible with Windows Vista if the advanced
features are necessary.

I have same problem and had long UNHELPFUL email exchange with HP tech
support. The only useful info is that HP and MS are working on a solution
and I will be advised when it is available. I've also foung that I cannot
print from Adobe
