Word Problem with embedded object in Word when converting to pdf

Hi,

I have a big document in Word with a lot of embedded pdf documents. These documents works fine in word, but when I convert the Word document to pdf using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional (8.1.2) the embedded function is lost. The embedded pdf documents are then jus pictures (icons) with no link to the documents.

Can someone help me with a solution to this problem?
