Problem with downloading Windows Updates on XP

I am unable to download any updates from Windows XP on
both my laptop or my desktop.I am using BT Broadband
through a router.I use tools/windows updates. It checks
for the lates updates OK. I then do scan for updates
OK.But when I select review and install updates. It just
takes ages. I get about 4 bars on the bottom then it
stops with unable to find page.
I havn't got any updates on either system including XP
SP1.
 
Make sure that you arent infected with any of the viruses out there like
MSBLAST first, then, look for your Windows Update.log file and see what
errors it might be having.
