Problem with CutePDF Writer

Hi..
well i have windows 98 on my machine and recently I downloaded the
free version of cutepdf writer and the PS2PDF comverter, ghostscript
with it. The installation went off without a hitch. But when i try to
print some doc it flags an error saying that a PS2PDF converter is
needed. this error is flagged inspite of me installing ghostscript.
What could be the problem? can any one help out ..
Thanks a lot

Did you install Ghostscript before installing CutePDF? BTW, the latest
version of GS is 8.15. The one you installed is rather old.

What is the difference between the GPL and AFPL releases of
Ghostscript, and which would be the proper one to use for general
purposes? GPL latest is 8.15 (Sept '04), but AFPL latest version is
8.50 (Dec '04).

It wouldn't make a difference for most casual users. I found the
explanation at the following link useful: http://lwn.net/Articles/33130/

Thanks, this site provides a much more informative explanation than I
have seen previously. I was always uncertain as to whether to use the
AFPL version, even though it is more recent, because I didn't quite
understand the licensing. Since it's for my own personal use it seems
that I wouldn't be violating the terms.
