Problem with client PC internet connection on LAN

I'm trying to set up a small network between two computers. I have connected them directly with a crossed ethernet cable, and run the network wizard on both computers. The host can see the client and vice versa, and the client can see the DSL connection that the host is using, but I can't get the client to access the internet. I know I'm probably missing something stupid, but any help would be much much appreciated.

Many thanks

tis OK, I have sorted it now!

It was a problem with the DNS configuration in the LAN settings on the client computer. I just switched to detect it automatically for anyone with a similar problem. Good luck people... computers suck!!
