A Windows security update that Microsoft released six months ago blocks
access to the contents of HTML Help files that you download from the
Internet or store on a network drive. For instructions on how to unblock a

Thank a lot, Ramesh, but MS's explanation for the network is too complex for
me to understand. I have no problem opening .chm on my local drive, but with
my USB drive MS's explanation #2 doesn't work.
Is there any relatively easy way to fix this prob for an USB drive?
USB thumb drive or an external hard drive? I have a thumb drive here and can
test for you if you provide me a link to download the CHM.
