Problem with accepting cookies & popups

Connie

I have just recently had my computer (laptop) formated due
to problems with XP pro upgrade. Everything seemed fine.
I have been putting in software and installing all my
drivers, etc. But the last two days I came across a problem
with accepting cookies. I have changed all my settings in
the control panel to accept all cookies, have put security
to low, have even put in setting to override any automatic
block of cookies. There are two web sites that I must go
to for my job that I have to accept cookies and popups. I
am not able to do that now. Are there any other
suggestions of what I can do? I installed Office Pro 2003
last night but this problem occured prior to that
installation. Please Help! Connie

you may have got a bug from those popups, i would still
set security at default, reboot, clean out your temp
files and objects install and spybot and try again.
