Problem with 2 network pcs

I have 2 machines running XP Pro, one of them the host has 2 NICs. One NIC is
connected to a linksys router and that router to a cable internet connection.
The second nic I have it connected to a switch, where the client pc is
connected. I went thru the Network connection wizard and I am able to connect
to the internet with both pcs, but I can't connect from pc tp pc, from the
client I am able to ping the host bit the host can't ping the client.
Can anyone please give me an idea of what can I do to get both pcs to share
the files and be able to connect to each other?, I appreciate any suggestions
regarding this matter.

Richard,

Without seeing the error message from the ping, I would suspect either a
firewall, or address resolution, problem.

Richard,

Try disabling. But if that doesn't work, enable and configure. ZA is well
known here for causing trouble, like what you're seeing, when "disabled".
