Problem using the "my Videos" tab in MCE!

Hello,

I am running Windows Media Center 2005 that was updated last year from 2004.

When I click on the "my videos" tab the MC stops responding and this comes
up;

"Generating crash report, please wait...." Then an error comes up and it
says; "Media Center has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience." When I click on the technical details I get
this;
---------------------------------

EventType : MCX P1 : sh.5.1.2715.2941 P2 : VideoGalleryPage
P3 : DivideByZero P4 : UIHelper_GetVideoThumbnail P5 : 0
P6 : GetImageForFile P7 : Run
----------------------------------

I run "set up" again but that did not help! I did not have this problem back
when I had 2004, it started with the 2005 upgrade. I did not worry about it
before because I never used videos in MCE but now I hooked it up to my TV
and It'd be nice if I can get it to work! It only happens when highlighting
or clicking "my videos"...every single time!

BTW, I have all the updates installed including Rollup 2!

I greatly appreciate it if you can help me out. Thanks.

Move your video collection to another folder, and add them back one at a
time. It sounds like MCE is crashing on trying to create the thumbnail for
one, or more, of the videos.

Thanks Doug!

I think the problem mostly is with .ra, .3gp and . mp4 video files! I
noticed that when a folder has any of these file types, MCE gets in trouble.
The problem here is that I can't move this video collection like you
suggested because it is in "My Documents" and MCE lists these files and
folders by default! When I try to remove these folders from my vides it does
not work! Now, if MCE can't play these files why are they collected and
displayed in MCE in the first place? Is there a way to get it not to
display these files in My videos?

Finally, I have the same files and setup on my other PC downstairs and no
problem there? It simply says that MCE can't play this file if clicked by
mistake.

Thanks.
