Windows XP problem to enter hibernation

When I try to enter hibernation I get this error message:
Microsoft.NET Framework v1.1.4322 Update is preventing the machine from entering hiernation. Try stopping this service and try again.
Can anybody explain to me how can I do this? How can I fix this problem?

i was getting this yesterday, managed to fix it by stopping one of the processes in task manager
