Problem to connect to mailbox

G

Gottfrid

I have just installed Outlook 2007 on a Vista Business computer.
The computer has been joined to a domain where the Exchange 2007 server is
located.
When I try to connect to the exchange server it ask for my username and
password to the domain. I enter it but the question comes back over and over
again.
The account is not locked out.
Is there some security in Vista that prevents me from connect to a Exchange
server out of the box?

Not an answer, just commiserating.

I have an almost identical problem. I sent a message to Microsoft today and
am waiting for the reply. Except for mine is a new home laptop (still working
out glitches), also with Vista, and my Outlook 2007 is part of the Home Use
Program package. Same point of failure, it recognizes up to my email
account, but not my password. It also prompts me as though mine is a limited
trial, not as though I registered it, which I have. I plan to review my
emails and see if I forgot to respond to or (de)activate anything.

Hopefully we will both have a solution soon.
