Problem Switching from Access 2000 to Access 2003

I purchased a new computer running Windows XP. I installed Microsoft office
pro 2003. The old computer is running Windows 98 SE and has Microsft office
2000.
I also installed Access 2000 on the old computer.
I did a database on the old that I want to back-up to a Zip Drive and
restore or install to the new. The New computer does not allow me to restore.
Please help. How do I make this transfer ?

What exactly is happening?

I can't think of anything in Access that would be preventing the scenario
from working. Is the problem with the Zip Drive, or something else?
