Problem sending emails with larger files attached

I am having a problem when sending emails with attached files that exceed 3MB
in size. They "hangup" in my outbox and send multiple copies - sometimes as
many as 18 to one recipient. I am using Outlook 2007. Any suggestions?

The most common reason for this is having your antovirus program configured to
scan your outgoing mail, which is a complete waste of time. Uninstall your AV
program completely, then reinstall it without the mail scanning feature.
