problem saving back to digital camera

After editing a movie I can't successfully save back to the camera. The video stalls and/or I lose audio. I'm capturing and saving in the format best for sending it back to tape. I'm using a sony digital handycam, model DCR-TRV310

For some reason MM has this problem from time to time. Have a look at
www.papajohn.org for an app called windv, or google for it, and this 99% of
the time, will then export your movie out for you successfully.

I downloaded the program and I'll try it later today. If it's as easy as all the on-line talk I'm sure I'll be pleased
