Problem running adprep /forest prep on my 2000 DC.

When I run the command to prep for 2003, it comes back saying that my forest
has already been prepped, and the program will not retry. The issue is that
I have not yet prepped the 2000 forest. I can confirm by trying to run a
dcpromo on one of my new 2003 servers, and it confirms that the forest has
not yet be prepped.

Could this be from the forest and domain prep that I did when I put in my
Exchange 2003 servers? Has anyone had this issue?

is your "new" Server Windows Server 2003 _R2_ ?
If so, then you must be use ADPREP from the second R2 CD.
