Domain Prep Failing

I am trying to add a 2003 domain controller to a 2000
domain. Forest prep completed fine, but domain prep fails
with the error "Adprep was unable to complete because the
callback function (null) failed", and "Windows cannot
determine the local sysvol location". When I run dcdiag I
get the message that it failed test systemlog. Any
thoughts would be appreciated. Paul

Do you have a SYSVOL share on each DC?

Yes, I believe I do..when i browse the network to the DC I
do see a sysvol share. Administrators and Authenticated
users have full control and everyone has read access

I just read something about this, has to do with the
connectors? you have to manually rebuild the replication
connectors, do a search for "replication connector"

You don't *need* to make the connection objects; in fact, it is recommended
that you don't. This is the job of the KCC (intra) and the ISTG (inter).
