I’m having problems receiving certain kinds of email attachments. I’ve just
sent a test email with 7 attachments to my computer. The file extensions
were:
..doc
..xls
..pps
..bmp
..lim
..pdf
..htm
The first three files were sent and received correctly. The other four file
names are visible when I click the attachments icon, but in grey so that I
can’t open or save them.
My programme is Outlook Express 6 (recently upgraded from 5.0). System is
Windows 98. I’m guessing there’s a default setting that blocks certain kinds
of files, but I can’t work out how to check this. Any ideas?
(PS - I hope I'm in the right discussion group! I looked for an Outlook
Express listing but couldn't find anything)
