problem publishing

Working with the system admin but we cant find what is causing the problem

I can publish to my local iis just fine.
I can see the files, directories, etc on the server after supplying my
domain\username and password and I set xp to remember them.
Can even delete all files in the server \\w2k16b\acqlib and copy and paste
from wwwroot to the server and they run on the server just fine if I is
":81" eg: To display the web page i must use \\w2k16b:81\acqlib

I cannot publish to \\w2k16b\acqlib nor to \\w1k16b:81\acqlib Irregardless
entering "domain\username" or just "username" it will not accept my password
and I cannot publish. The admin put fp2002 on the server thinking that was
the problem but it made no difference. I looked in my event log but didnt
see any error messages. Does the server have a log of error messages were I
can see failed login attempts?

We are not sure what is going on and in the meantime I am just copying and
pasting from my wwwroot to \\w2k16b\acqlib

...thanks for looking..

Did the admin person actually configure the FP extensions for the specific web site and port number
if, port 80 (the default) is not being used?

Did they set up your server user account to allow you to publish to the specific folder holding the
web site?
