Problem printing

My hard drive crashed. Reinstalled Windows 2000 prof, service pack 4 and MS
Office Suite 2003. When I try to print text, nothing happens. However, if I
add a graphic (bmp) to the page, it prints the graphic and the text. Test
page prints fine. Also can't print from notepade, etc. Any suggestions?

Check Event Viewer for errors. Make sure the printer is 'online'. Also try
printing while looking at the queue window to see what was sent.

Nothing logged in Event Viewer. Printer is online and scrolls out one page
when print is executed. Print queue window showed the document spooling,
then printing. No text. It only prints text if I add a graphic (bmp) to the
page.
