I've suddenly developed a problem with Word 2000 where when I paste something
into a document intending to overwrite the highlighted text in the
destination document the text is not overwritten but just moved to the end of
the just pasted text. For example if I want to paste the text "1,2,3" from an
outlook email into a word document so that it overwrites the text "a,b,c" the
"abc" is just being pushed to the line following "1,2,3" and not being
deleted. The text that I want to deleted is highlighted first so it should
just disappear when I paste the new text, right?
