Hi
I keep getting a message when I open Outlook saying

The data file "Archive Folders" was not closed properly

and then I have to wait while the file is checked. It takes about 30
seconds. I posted a query re this some time ago and was advised to try
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.htm - I downloaded Shutdown Addin
V1.9.0.0 and it appeared to work, I didn't get the message for a few days.
I even paid $5 to register the copy - I have it on Stubborn shutdown Mode.
But the problem has happened twice over the past two days , so it doesn't
seem to be the answer.

Can anybody pls advise what I should do? I have Outlook 2002 with SP3, on
Win XP.

Many thanks
Sheila

Tried running the repair tool, scanpst.exe, on the archive.
Ensure OL is closed, if neccessary close the archive, in OL first.

Ran it, it found no problems but I haven't had the error message again so
maybe it's sorted.

Thanks for your help
Sheila
