Problem opening attachment

As of about a week ago I have been unable to open an attachement a vendor
sends to me. Now I have checked with other employees who receive the same
file and they can open the attachment on their PC so I have isoloated the
problem to only my PC. The error I get is as follows:

Microsoft Outlook Error

Can't create file: 7dayforMC.xls. Right-Click the folder you want to create
the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the
shorcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Diane,

in regards to "Outlook SecureTemp Files Folder" - When this folder gets
"full" you may have problems opening email attachments or embedded images
won't display. If you open image attachments in Windows Photo or Image viewer
and click next, you may see old images you thought you deleted. Delete the
files in the folder to fix.

In Windows XP the folder for Outlook 2000 to 2003 is at
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK*.
The OLK directory will end in a series of numbers.

NOTE: I went to the location and I never located any OLK directory but I did
see others (IT) who had remote connected to service this laptop so I deleted
all their temp stuff. Anyway, it did not fix the problem. Do you know where
else the OLK file might be saved as I can't find it.

Regards,
GFS

You're opening by double clicking on the attachment in the email?

I am having the same problem, also very recently. I am using Outlook 2007
and Vista and I can't find any temp files to delete as suggested. Any ideas?
Without the XP Windows Explorer function, it is very difficult to find files.
