Problem mail merging form Outlook 2007

Hi

I am trying to mail merge an html document using outlook contacts. Problem
is Outlook 2007 seems to mess up my html and adds a lot of html code
presumably due to using word 2007 during mail merge. The mail shot then
appears with unwanted attachments on the other side. Is there any way to
avoid this?

Thanks

That is one of the files that is used to support 'round tripping' - ie, so
you can create an html file in word and reopen it in word for editing even
though a different editor is set as the default for html. I thought there
was an option to include metadata for round tripping, but I can't find it.

Go to tools, options, mail format and set it to strip unnecessary stuff from
html. Not sure it will help, but for most people, it’s a good setting to
use all the time anyway.
