Problem loading WinXP

Hi,

This morning I am trying to switch my PC on as usual.

Before the Login screen appears, on my screen a no video input message
is given and after a few seconds my PC restarts.

I tried then to reboot my pc into safe-mode, and it loaded without no
problems.

I am currently using WinXP with SP2.

Can someone give me some help regarding this problem.

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

I re-installed a new Windows XP on another harddrive. The same problem
was given. I set auto restart to off, and message has been recorded.
The message that has been given is the following:
"STOP: C0000415 Unknown Hard Error
Unknown Hard Error
Beginning dump of Pyhsical memory
Physical memory dump complete
Contact your system administrator or techincal support group for
further assistance"

Now when I rebooted this new WinXP version into safe mode, the
following error message was given:
"Computer restarted after an unexpected shutdown error
Microsoft Windows detected a possible device failure
The driver for the display device was unable to complete a drawing
operation. Please check with the device manufacturer for a device
update.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem. The display driver for
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200 (Microsoft Corporation) seems to be
responsible for the system instability."

Using the pc in safe mode continued normally after this message. I
then rebooted the same PC again on the old version of WinXP, where no
error message is given both in safe mode and in normal mode. In normal
mode, monitor simply turns off.

What do you think the problem is?

I think the problem should be something with the graphics card, infact
its rather old for this pc. Should I buy another graphics card, or can
it be possibly updated?

Can someone help me out
Thanks in Advance.
