problem installing

I get a error message when trying to upgrade from ME to
XP. An error message keeps popping saying something about
566FF58H. Dont know what that means
 
Go back to ME, then while at the ME desktop, place the XP CD in the drive,
when the setup screen appears, select "Check System Compatibility."
