Problem installing Paint Pro Photo because of Windows installer error

Hi there, I am having trouble installing "Paint Pro Photo" software, never normally have problems installing software. The error message reads:

"The windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe mode, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance".

I am not running in safe mode and my windows installer is running correctly,as far as I know. I can't contact support personnel for assistance as I don't have any support. I install software all the time and have never encountered this problem before. I have tried different ways many times to install this software, but the same message returns each time.

Anyone have any ideas of a way round this problem or have any sugestions?

Is this Corel "Paint Shop Pro Photo" ?

Is Windows fully up to date ?

Cool thank you for solving my problem, I did the following action below and the software installed. thanks again

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, typemsiexec.exe /unregister, and then press ENTER.
4. Type msiexec /regserver, and then press ENTER.
