problem install Office on XP pro

help I had Office 2000 that worked when I had Win 2000 I
tried to install in XP and I get error 1335 office.cab is
corrupted it would not install so I pull it out and I just
bought a copy of Office Xp from a friend who upgrade his
office and I tried to install the program and I am getting
the same thing error 1335 and I cannot get past this
point checked the cd there are not scratches new cd can
anyone help
