problem in windows

I cannot type in windows keep getting a message on the
bottom of the screen saying "This command is not available
as the document is locked for edit" - how do I unlock it
in order to type?
 
Are you trying to edit a document that is located on a
CDRW?

If so you will need to open from the CDRW then do a save
as onto the harddrive = do your editing save then copy
from hd to cdrw
 
Also make sure if it is a document that was on a cd, that you uncheck the
read only attribute in the properties. By right clicking and going to
properties on the document in explorer.
