Hi

I have some problems in Windows 2000 Server - Active
Directory.

When the users accessing the units shared
(Example: P:/ = Public Directory in some host) in the
File Server, The Active Directory show the message:

"Error in the File System (2239)"

After this message the user have the access denied to
server.

What is this?? Any answer??

Than you

Gustavo

Gustavo,

A couple of questions:

1) is the File Server a separate server ( possibly on a WIN2000 Member
Server ) or is the File Server a Domain Controller?
2) do you have multiple Domain Controllers in your domain?
3) do you have multiple Sites in your environment or just one?
4) how are you assigning permissions on the shares? Remember that you have
both Share as well as NTFS permissions...

HTH,

Cary
