Problem. Frequent "Object Moved" message. Fix?

When trying to go to a new page or site, I frequently get a screen that says:

OBJECT MOVED
This document may be found HERE.

If you click on HERE, your redirected back to the previous page. I've had
the problem on several computers on different web servers, so the problem is
not unique to me. Is there a fix for this? Thanks for your help.

Depends how it is implemented and how it is being handled.
Sometimes it is done by HTTP.
Sometimes HTTP responses are interfered with by third-party programs.
Sometimes it is done by HMTL Meta HTTP-Equiv.
This can be disabled by a Security setting.
Sometimes it is done by Active Scripting.
This can be disabled by a Security setting and also may be interfered
with by third-party programs.
Etc.

Use packet tracing or View Source to determine which applies
in your case.

Let's pretend I don't know what you are talking about. Okay, let's not
pretend. I don't know what you are talking about!

How do I know which it is?

Which one, in which case, and how?

Packet tracing? Hmmmm Is this anything like calling UPS to ask where the
h*** my packets are?

I think most people who come here for help are pretty much confused like me.
More concise explanation may be necessary!

I was *very* concise. ;)

I have given more detailed information about this topic in previous
responses. Since the OP posted using the web interface to newsgroups
he can use its search tool to find them.

Searching newsgroups with your newsreader isn't as effective.
With the hints I gave you could try using the web interface's search too
or use Google Groups instead.

Give an example link if you need more of a tutorial.
